Bits of Something

a few scanned pages from a sketch journal I've been keeping. something of an experiment in simplicity: one pen, one brush, one book. each page starts with simple watercolor washes (often splashes) which is followed by a pen doodling around the color and building a form out of it. the words were unexpected, but not unwelcome, and has likely made this book the most personal pieces of art I've ever done, oddly enough.
