<sub>Bio: Believed to be of western descent, she was orphaned at a young age and found by a man who took her in and schooled her in the Japanese Noh Theater despite her being a girl.

Using the theater as a front, her school Master ran an undercover agency that utilized the actor's skills and status to gain information for their clients. Somako, while still young at the time, had a distinct advantage over her theater-mates; she was the only girl among them, and could go places they could not.

Due to her training in theater, Somako's acting abilities and memory are quite impressive, making her very good at infiltration, spying and undercover work. Information gathering is a bit of a specialty.

After her school Master and fellow students were killed in a strange fire, she picked up the fighting arts in order to hunt down the one who started the blaze and exact her revenge. Joining the SDL, Somako hoped to find among the league the information she sought.

Personality: Well-dressed and presented, she takes an active interest in her appearance and that of others. When not wearing one of the masks she is quiet and reserved, but not at all threatening unless approached and not left alone. Once she pulls a mask over her face she tends to take on some of the personalities and quirks of that character, though remains a woman of few words or broadcast emotions.

She is observant and alert and rarely misses something that is going on around her. She can be scarily accurate in her observations. Tenacious and self-assured. She is blunt, up-front, strictly honest and highly dislikes dishonesty or mockery of any sort. She will, however, happily tell you exactly what she thinks of you. She can be over-zealous and opinionated and when mad she becomes abrasive and overly critical - both of herself and especially of those around her. She has a severe love of romantic tales and drama and as such can be overly romantic and a bit of an exhibitionist.

Of Interest: Usually seen wearing a variety of Noh Masks, almost never actually over her face unless she is dancing or fighting. Her favored mask seems to be a grey and red Hannya mask, as it the one seen most often. Also seen have been a Tengu mask, a Kitsune mask. It is rumored that there are others.

It is interesting to note that Somako's chosen mask dictates to some extent her mood and personality. Much as if she is playing the role of the character that the mask shows.
